Fried Fish with Black Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 piece Milkfish (Bangus)
  • Crushed salt
  • Crushed black pepper
  • 3 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 180 grams Salted beans (Tausi)
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1 piece Carrot
  • 2 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 1 piece Red bell pepper
  • 1 piece Green bell pepper
  • 1 piece Ginger
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 stalk Celery
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce

Instructions

  • For the fish, thoroughly coat salt & pepper, cornstarch & water.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Fried the fish till golden brown in color.
  • Drain the liquid from the salted beans.
  • Saute garlic, ginger, and onion. Add salted beans.
  • Add carrots, celery, oyster sauce, and soy sauce. Stir to mix all the ingredients.
  • Add the fried fish. Cook for a few minutes.
  • Best served with hot rice.
