Way crunchier and tastier, this crispy fried fish gives a delightful flavor that makes you wanna have an extra heap of rice. But there’s more; this isn’t just your ordinary fried fish as we give something extra special for you! Nothing less, it is our exceptional sauce! Cannot believe it? Keep your eyes until the last page! You are welcome.

Background

In the early times, the Scots popularized fried chicken, then brought this idea to America, and later to the rest of the world. Eventually, there have evolved many versions of this means of cooking; thus, the birth of our mouthwatering Crispy Fried Fish! What made it a hit is that it’s easiest and the fastest to prepare. Fried fish can either be done through pan or deep frying— each not being complicated to do at all.

How would you know that the fish has been deep-fried just rightly?

It is truly important that the fish be deep-fried just enough, neither over- nor undercooked. Make sure that the heat is set to medium high so it will not burn the outer part, rather it will reach and absorb into the meat inside. Also, this will give us a consistent tenderness of the fish meat. When the fish is already golden brown, then it is okay for sure.

What makes the fish crispy?

Fish becomes crispy when you have it deep-fried in medium high heat. With the right timing and keen attention, it leaves you the right crunchiness that is muy delicioso in every bite! Not only that, thanks to the egg and flour that we sprinkled to the fish! Those add an extra good texture when cooked and served.

Cooking Tips

  • It is so important that when deboning the fish, we carefully take away all the bones that are in it. If it is quite a hard job to do, you may ask fishmongers to do a favor for you.
  • In making the sauce, always take note of the proper measurement of the ingredients. Adding each in adequate amounts will help us succeed in enhancing the over-all flavors of the dish!
